CHRONIC HEPATITIS B. All persons with cirrhosis based on clinical evidence (or APRI score >2 in adults) require lifelong treatment with nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs), and should not discontinue antiviral therapy because of the risk of reactivation, which can cause severe acute-on-chronic liver injury
