In generalized epidemic settings antiretroviral therapy (ART) should be initiated and maintained in eligible pregnant and postpartum women and in infants at maternal, newborn and child health-care settings, with linkage and referral to ongoing HIV care and antiretroviral therapy (ART) where appropriate
